Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2, 2026. This plain-language policy describes the current production implementation; it is not a promise that a future feature will use the same data flow.
Data used for generation
Local generation runs in your browser and uses the selected categories. AI generation sends the selected categories, the optional description, locale, and refinement context to the AI API configured by the site operator. The generation log stores request status, model name, timing, quota reason, and short diagnostics; it does not store the prompt, generated names, API key, or raw response.
Accounts and anonymous use
Google sign-in creates or updates an account record containing the Google subject identifier, email address, and last-seen time. Anonymous use receives a signed, HttpOnly quota cookie. The server hashes the request IP with a server secret for rate limiting; it does not store the raw IP in the AI request log.
Infrastructure and analytics
The site is hosted on Vercel. Account, quota, configuration, and diagnostic records are stored in the Neon PostgreSQL database configured for this deployment. When the Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, the site loads Google Analytics after the page becomes interactive and sends page views and product events. See Google’s privacy and data controls for details.
Retention and choices
Records are retained for operating the service, enforcing quotas, diagnosing failures, and protecting the service. The current site does not expose an automated account deletion form or a public privacy inbox. Do not submit sensitive personal information in a gamertag description.
Third-party rules
Google sign-in, Google Analytics, the configured AI provider, Vercel, Neon, and the selected gaming platforms have their own terms and privacy policies. AIGamertag does not control those services.
